Study: Charcoal on Paper 24" x 18"

"Early morning light wakens this narrow passageway. Soon it will be teaming with life, the sounds and smells of the day echoing against the stone facades. For now, there's time to appreciate the stillness of a new day."

This is a practice piece (aka: Study) that I did, focused on a specific charcoal technique. It will come unframed, the paper rolled into a tube for safe handling. For best display results, have the piece matted and framed behind glass to fit your decor aesthetic. All materials are archival, but it's always best not to place artwork in direct sunlight.
