Sheila’s Note: This was the first in the series, and she set the tone—boldly. Her joy came through so clearly that all I had to do was keep up. Every layer of paint felt like another “yes” to being fully alive. And that cat? She was there from the beginning—deliberate, rooted, a quiet little wink of playfulness anchoring the whole piece. Like a secret only some will notice… and those who do, are probably already smiling.
